The security committee in Deir Ezzor province held an emergency meeting last night to discuss the latest developments, according to a private source for DeirEzzor24 Network.
The source said that several points were discussed during the meeting, the first of which was finding anti-regime graffiti in Al-Qusour neighborhood, and calls for demonstrations and strict security measures in the city and the countryside.
The city of Deir Ezzor witnessed, during the past two days, an alert of the security branches and militias, in conjunction with the spread of calls to demonstrate against the Assad regime in support of the movement in Daraa and As-Suwayda.
