Al-Mansour Bridge (the old bridge), located in the southern part of Raqqa city, was returned to service this evening, after the completion of restoration work carried out by Raqqa Governorate.
The bridge received traffic of small cars, pedestrians and bicycles, after completing the final phase of maintenance work, which included paving and rehabilitating the part damaged as a result of the explosion it was recently exposed to.
Al-Mansour Bridge is one of the most important connecting points between Raqqa city and its southern countryside, as it constitutes a vital path for the daily movement of residents.
It is noteworthy that the bridge was bombed, along with the Rashid Bridge located on the banks of the Euphrates River, which connects both Al Jazira and Shamiyah river banks to the city of Raqqa.
