The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Deir Ezzor Governorate announced that it had conducted a series of raids targeting several homes whose owners were suspected of involvement in the trade and promotion of narcotic substances. The operations were carried out after careful monitoring and intelligence gathering from trusted sources.
According to the branch, the raids resulted in the seizure of 18.5 kilograms of hashish, which had been concealed inside food containers and professionally sealed to disguise their contents. Authorities also confiscated quantities of the substance known as “H-Boz” and a number of narcotic pills, all of which were reportedly prepared for distribution within the city.
The Ministry of Interior stressed that its efforts to combat drug abuse and trafficking will continue relentlessly. It reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing drug dealers and promoters and to dismantling their networks wherever they may be found, in order to protect public safety and preserve the well-being of citizens
