On Friday, September 18,2020, landmines explosions killed seven National Defense (ND) militia fighters and injured others in al-badiya of the town of Al-Kharitah, western Deir Ezzor.
ND fighters headed to comb a post in al-badiya in which unknown shooters targeted ND fighters the previous night. Landmines exploded on the fighters as they were combing the area.
Three of the killed fighters are from the town of al-Shumaytiyah three others from the Aleppo governorate, and a 14-year-old child from Al-Kharitah.
Over recent weeks, landmines explosions killed many ND fighters in Deir Ezzor badiya.
