DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Deir Ezzor 24 network learned that the Iranian militias in the city of Deir Ezzor stopped their recruitment program more than a month ago, despite the sectarian brigades’ need for more members, due to the ongoing reconciliation in the province. The elements wanted for compulsory and reserve services prefer to join sectarian militias rather than join the ranks of the Assad regime forces. .
According to the sources, this is due to the privileges offered by the militias to their members, which include the relatively high wages that are added to the salaries, half-monthly work hours and military cards, which entitle them to carry weapons on vacations and motorcycle missions.
After they ended their recruitment program, the 4th Division, the 17th Division and the intelligence services become the only available option for the city’s residents who want a military settlement.
