Deir Ezzor 24 network learned from informed sources that the commanders of sectarian brigades affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia in Deir Ezzor issued orders to its members to search for archaeological finds, amulets, precious stones and colored beads, in addition to bat nests, used in magic and sorcery, with the aim of selling them to a militia pilgrim. of “Zainabiyoun”, called “Muzaffar”, at attractive prices.
According to the sources, the search operations were popular among the militia members, who are targeting research among the rural villages of Deir Ezzor and the city, to take advantage of their high prices.
It is noteworthy that the archaeological sites in Deir Ezzor province have been robbed and excavated by the Russian and Iranian militias. The sectarian militias have taken military points and shrines in archaeological sites such as Ain Ali and the ruins of Halabiya, Zalabiyah and Mari.
