DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Iranian militias forced fuel sellers in the town of Mahkan, east of Deir Ezzor, to pay a financial royalty amounting to 50% of the value of the profits, in exchange for allowing them to sell it, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
According to the reporter, the sellers were forced to accept payment of royalties to avoid confiscation of their quantities on the one hand, and for fear of being arrested on charges of smuggling on the other hand.
Iranian militias dominate the people of Deir Ezzor and impose fines and royalties without regard to laws or regulations.
