A source told Deir Ezzor 24 Network that three Iranian militias’ fighters arrived at the Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor on Thursday, August 13, 2020. The fighters showed symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19.)
The source added that symptoms were clear, hence doctors transferred the fighters to quarantine until they are proved infected through samples. The fighters refused to go under quarantine and hit a doctor. A state of chaos prevailed at the hospital for an hour. The fighters’ fellows convinced them of going under quarantine. The fighters were transported to the center of the Medical Institution; however, when they arrived, the fighters left the center.
COVID-19 recorded an unprecedented spread in the Assad regime-controlled areas in Deir Ezzor, amidst negligence, as Assad medical staff failed to fight COVID-19.
