An Iranian delegation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard arrived in Deir Ezzor in the past few days from Tehran, sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 network.
The sources indicated that before arriving in Deir Ezzor, the delegation visited some Iraqi cities such as al-Basra and al-Kufa.
The same sources noted that the immediate reason for the Iranian delegation visit to Deir Ezzor is to supervise the establishment of cultural courses and moral guidance for the members of Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor, based on implanting the ideology of resistance, which Iran constitutes one of its pillars, in addition to explaining the history of Iran in resisting America and Israel.
According to the sources, on its visit, the delegation paid great attention to the opening of new centers to attract new members to the Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor, targeting children and young people.
The sources said that the visit comes in the wake of the escape of a whole group belonging to the Iranian militias, from Al-Bukamal city after the coalition airstrikes on the Iraqi-Syrian border, and also as an attempt to rely more on militias from the region after the state of chaos caused by al-Nujabaa and Fatimiyeon militias.
The date of the planned cultural course have not yet been determined, but its centers have been identified, with one of them in Hatlah, the second near the Heart Hospital, the third next to Al-Tala’ie center in Deir Ezzor, and two others in al-Mayadeen and Al-Bukamal cities.
It is noteworthy that Iran controls several areas of Deir Ezzor through its militias, and are seeking to extend its control over new areas of Deir Ezzor, to which it pays special attention.
