DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The people of the city of Deir Ezzor are suffering from pressure from Iranian-backed militia members, sources reported to the DeirEzzor24 network.
A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that the pressures include the closure of the only medical center in the Hamidiya neighborhood some time ago without giving real reasons, in addition to the failure to repair electricity, remove the rubble, or rehabilitate the basic infrastructure.
He added that the Iranian-backed militias, in coordination with the Assad regime, are deliberately applying these pressures on the people to force them to sell their homes, as the recent period witnessed an active movement of the militias in buying real estate in the destroyed neighborhoods of the city of Deir Ezzor, especially the Hamidiya neighborhood, especially in the vicinity of the automated bakery in the neighborhood. Residents had to sell their homes at low prices, taking advantage of the lack of services in the area.
The Iranian-backed militias employed some brokers and officers of the Assad regime to implement their plans to purchase real estate in the city of Deir Ezzor, and assistant “Talal” from the State Security Branch took on the task of purchasing real estate in the Hamidiya neighborhood.
