A private source has told the DeirEzzor24 network that Iran-backed militias such as the Revolutionary Guards and the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces have begun booby-trapping cars in Iraq to send them to Syria.
The source added that the car rigging operations are being carried out in the village of Saada, affiliated with the Qaim district in Iraq, under the supervision of the leader of the Revolutionary Guards militia called “Hajj Askar”.
The Iranian-backed militias seek to undermine the existing stability in Syria, and carry out revenge operations against the Syrian people from Deir Ezzor, after the defeat they suffered alongside the Assad regime.
