On Wednesday, August 12, the international coalition forces carried out an airborne operation on a house in Al-Kassar village northeast of Deir Ezzor, a according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the SDF’s ground forces participated in the operation, which resulted in the arrest of a group of suspected Daesh members.
A source told Deir Ezzor 24 that the persons who were arrested during the operation have been in Al-Baghuz town since 2016, and that they are suspected of committing crimes and assassinations for Daesh.
This operation comes as part of the intensive security and military operations carried out by the international coalition following the recent assassinations occurred in various parts of Deir Ezzor.
