D24 Network spotted several areas in besieged Deir Ezzor and took several pictures for the documentation of life in them. The economic conditions have become extremely bad that civilians are dying of hunger on a regular basis.
The pictures depict the current gloomy and miserable situation of civilians residing in besieged Deir Ezzor, and the decline in the activities of markets in Al-Joura and Al-Qusour neighborhodos, which are facing a sharp shortage of goods.
Since January 15, 2015, civilians have been living under the siege imposed by both, Daesh and Assad, on Deir Ezzor. The situation is distressing as more than 200 thousand people are trapped inside, creating another serious humanitarian crisis as many of them are dying of hunger and lack of medicines regularly etc.
