The city of Al-Mayadeen is witnessing a significant increase in fuel prices, to the point that they have exceeded double the old prices, according to what was reported by a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
The reporter stated that the prices have increased because of the cessation of fuel smuggling operations from the SDF areas to areas controlled by the Assad regime, and the regime not sending the city’s fuel allocations in full, and allocating the rest of the quantity to Iranian militias in the city.
The rise in fuel prices in Al-Mayadin city caused the disruption of some businesses and the rise in prices of other food and household items.
