Sources told Deir Ezzor 24 network that buses transporting members of Assad’s forces broke down on Sunday (May 17th), in the badiyah of Deir Ezzor, and the elements remained in the badiyah for 24 hours without any response from Assad’s forces to transport them.
The sources added that the area where the buses stopped, is one of the areas Daesh usually attacks, which has caused the elements to panic while they were waiting.
The sources noted that this is not the first time that buses have broken down, and elements neglected unlike the Iranian militias, that have modern buses and vehicles and are escorted when travelling by vehicles carrying local affiliates.
It is indicated that Assad’s forces in Syria are generally treated as third-class elements, as they come after the Russian and the Iranian proxy militias, that enjoy privileges they do not have.
