Manar al-Asa’ad, who is the wife of Firass al-Iraqiyeh the commander of the National Defense (ND) militia ran over an elderly man called Ibraheem al-Mawardi in the al-Jorah neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor.
The elderly shouted at those in the car that ran him over, but Manar’s escorts threatened that if he does not keep silent they will wrap him to the car and drag him into streets. This forced the elderly man to keep silent and go on his way.
This is the second incident in 15 days, as earlier, Manar humiliated a woman and expelled her from the Shaheed (Martyr) Institution because she demanded to receive a food ration.
