D24 network correspondent confirmed that continuous clashes were heard near the river crossing area between Ash-Shahil city and Buqruss town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
“A violent explosion occurred in the crossing area just before the clashes started”, the correspondent said, adding that the flames were clearly seen to rise up from the location of the explosion.
It is indicated that the river crossing between Ash-Shahil city and Buqruss town, has been used as a corridor for smuggling oil from the SDF-controlled areas to the regime areas west of the Euphrates.
D24 network has no accurate information till now about the nature of the clashes and the parties involved.
It is noteworthy that military positions of the Assad’s forces and the Iranian militias in the region are subjected to Daesh attacks from time to time.
