On February 4, 2021, the expatriate Abdullah Jasem al-Ateish al-Jaaila from the town of Abu Hamam in the al-Shaitat area, eastern Deir Ezzor received a rewarding medal of the third grade in the Saudi Arabia for his donating blood for ten times.
Al-Jaaila received the medal along with other 27 expatriates after Custodian of the Two Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz agreed offering the expatriates the medals.
The third degree medal is one of the most rewarding medals in Saudi Arabia, as it is given to civilians. It is famous because it is given to those who donate blood.
