Elements of the Iranian-backed militias fled their positions in the Albukamal desert, fearing that they would be targeted by airstrikes, according to a correspondent for DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the elements fled to unknown areas, after being assigned to guard points belonging to the Revolutionary Guard militia in the desert.
It is noteworthy that officers from the Republican Guard and the Fourth Division formed patrols to search for the fleeing elements, and circulated their names to all checkpoints spread across the area, where they are trying to find the defected elements, before they reach the areas controlled by the SDF.
