DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
Independent candidates for the People’s Assembly began building election tents in public squares and intersections in the city of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 local reporter.
Our reporter said that the majority of electoral tents were set up near Al-Jaz, Hammoud Al-Abd, and Sabaa Bahrat in the Al-Qusour neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor.
Election tents are one of the ancient rituals used to win votes, by attracting supporters and providing “bitter” Arabic coffee, cold drinks, ice cubes, and sometimes banquets.
