An elderly man died this morning, Monday, July 20, 2020, at the military hospital in Deir Ezzor. The man entered the hospital yesterday due to being so ill.
According to local sources in Deir Ezzor city, the man entered the hospital with high fever and respiratory distress, so he was received in the intensive care unit. The medical tests showed that he was infected with Coronavirus, but the man died before the results came back.
The deceased is a retiree from Deir Ezzor. The hospital hid the cause of his death due to the great negligence of the medical staff.
