Dozens of residents from Deir Ezzor, Rqqa, and Hasakah took part today, Friday, in a protest following Friday prayers at Al-Madlaji Square in the center of Deir Ezzor, demanding the liberation of the Syrian Jazira and rejecting the policies of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces).
The demonstration was organized by activists from Deir Ezzor province and the broader eastern region. Participants held banners affirming the unity of Syrian territory and rejecting all forms of division and secession.
The demonstrations in Deir Ezzor coincided with similar protest movements that took place in the cities of Homs, Hama, Aleppo, and Damascus, carrying the same slogans calling for Syria’s unity and the rejection of partition.
In their speeches, the protesters emphasized that Syria is one unified state, stressing the need to end all manifestations that could lead to the division of the country or harm its sovereignty.
