On Saturday, October 10, 2020, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) milita closed the al-Arba’een street in the city of al-Mayadeen, eastern Deir Ezzor.
The IRGC closed the street due to a delegation of the Um al-Baneen Society visiting al-Mayadeen to meet the Religious Committee members and the Awkaf Directorate.
A well informed source told Deir Ezzor 24 Netowrk that the aim of the meeting is to discuss the siutation of destroyed mosques in al-Mayadeen and to prepare plans to rehabilitate them.
This is the second time the Um al-Baneen society vistis al-Mayadeen in two months to check religious facilities.
