A DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that a number of Deir Ezzor residents demanded carrying out campaigns similar to the Al-Joura neighborhood campaign that was carried out several weeks ago in Deir Ezzor city to confiscate weapons from the hands of all young men.
It is noteworthy that the General Security in Deir Ezzor carried out a comprehensive weapons search campaign, about two weeks ago, in Al-Joura neighborhood, the largest neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, which resulted in the confiscation of quantities of weapons and ammunition.
Several cases of shooting were recorded between young men in quarrels due to the spread of individual weapons that they obtained during the past years before the fall of the defunct regime, and some of them after the fall of the Assad regime obtained them from the headquarters and barracks of the defunct regime.
