Deir Ezzor has launched a four-day specialized surgical training workshop, organized by the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) in cooperation with the Deir Ezzor Health Directorate. The sessions are being held at Deir Ezzor National Hospital and Martyr Ahmad Al-Huwaidi Hospital.
The workshop focuses on enhancing the skills and readiness of surgical and medical staff through hands-on training and expert-led scientific lectures. A select group of doctors and specialists are supervising the program.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support and strengthen the local healthcare sector, improve surgical capacities, and raise the quality of medical services provided to residents across the province.
