On Friday, February 12, 2021, an International Coalition airstrike hit a secret Daesh outpost in the northern Deir Ezzor badiya, killing Daesh Emir of al-badiya Abu Yaseen al-Iraqi with two escorts.
The killed escorts are Abu Hazem Thiban, who is called Abu Hazem al-Shami, and another member whose name is unknown; however, he is from the town of Suwaydan Jazeera in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
A drone airstrike killed Abu Yaseen and the escorts near the village of al-Tarekhim in the northern Deir Ezzor badiya.
