Daesh launched an attack on the SDF positions near the Sahjan oil field in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, as heavy clashes took place between the two sides near the field.
According to Deir Ezzor 24 reporter, more than 15 elements of the SDF were killed and captured in Daesh’s attack on their positions near the the Sahjan field.
Daesh controlled some of the oil wells in the area, and blew up military guard rooms belong to the SDF in the vicinity of the the Sahjan oil field east of Deir Ezzor.
On the other hand the Coalition fighter jets launched intensive air strikes on Daesh positions in the vicinity of the Sahjan oil field in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
It is noteworthy that fearing attacks by Daesh on the area, the SDF are withdrawing from some of the oil fields in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
