Today, Monday (May 18, 2020), Daesh threatened a number of shopkeepers in Al-Suwar city north of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that members of Daesh have called a number of shopkeepers and asked them to pay money for the group, and in case they refused, the group will publish them severely.
It is indicated that Deir Ezzor 24 network has obtained the names of the shopkeepers but it won’t mention their names for their own safety.
It is worth mentioning that cells of Daesh have been remarkably active in the areas east and west of the Euphrates recently.
