Daesh cells launch an attack on the SDF near Al-Sayjan field

Today, Friday, Daesh-linked cells launched an attack on positions of the SDF near Al-Sayjan oil well in Deir Ezzor countryside.

According to D24 network correspondent, Daesh clashed with the SDF fighters near the field, while the casualties on both sides are still unknown.

The correspondent noted that Daesh’s attack targeted a convoy of the SDF near the oil field.

It is noteworthy that Daesh cells are active in different parts of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, having recently attacked a number of military posts and checkpoints of the SDF.
