Late last night, Monday, Daesh launched a violent attack on the positions of the Assad’s forces and the Iranian militias near Al-Syal town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
In the details obtained by D24 network, Daesh elements reached military posts of the Assad’s forces and managed to kill and injure dozens of elements in the area.
Daesh elements were able to withdraw from the positions they entered near Al-Syal town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
In turn, the Assad’s forces shelled the badiyah of Al-Syal town east of Deir Ezzor using heavy artillery and rocket launchers, and this was accompanied by the firing of flare shells over the area.
It is noteworthy that every now and then Daesh launches sporadic attacks on the positions of the Assad’s forces and the Iranian militias east of Deir Ezzor, the latest of which was an attack on the positions of Al-Fatimiyon militia near Al-Kum oil station in Al-Bukamal countryside.
