A source told the Deir Ezzor 24 that on Sunday evening, Daesh ambushed a Russian backed militias’ convoy on the Ithiria highway in the countryside of al-Salamiyah in the Hama governorate.

The source added that the convoy is made up of 40 vehicles, including diesel tankers. The convoy was heading to al-Raqqa then to Deir Ezzor. 13 bombs on the highway blew the convoy before Daesh attacked it.
