DeirEzzor24 Network monitored the spread of nepotism and corruption in local and international organizations operating in Deir Ezzor province.
Forms of corruption permeating those organizations, according to what DeirEzzor24 monitored, comes from two aspects, the first in terms of employment and workers, and the second in terms of beneficiaries, as work in organizations is limited to employees and volunteers who are appointed through mediation regardless of competencies and certificates, starting with the Red Crescent system and passing through the organization. Christian Marfram, the World Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the British Oxfam Organization, the French First Aid Organization (PUI), the World Food Program (WFB) and the Christian Gopa Organization for Ecumenical Relations and Development.
While the beneficiaries of these organizations (communities and individuals) are limited to people who have relations or knowledge of managers and employees in those organizations.
The work of international and local organizations in Deir Ezzor is subject to interference and monitoring by the loyal branches of the Assad regime.
