DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The people of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, especially the people of the town of Shuhail, complained about the pollution of the water of the Euphrates River as a result of oil smuggling operations, according to a DeirEzzor24 local reporter.
Our reporter said that oil smuggling operations are carried out in primitive ways to areas controlled by Assad forces on the second bank of the Euphrates River through lines that are often broken, which leads to oil leaking into the waters of the Euphrates River.
The pollution of the Euphrates water has led to problems with drinking water and irrigation water for agricultural lands in the region.
