The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Deir Ezzor has launched inspection tours targeting local bakeries, aiming to ensure the quality of bread, adherence to official production standards, and compliance with scheduled operating hours.
The inspections resulted in seven violation reports issued against bakeries for a range of infractions, including substandard bread quality, underweight loaves, and breaches of health regulations. One bakery was also sealed due to serious violations.
A representative from the Directorate told DeirEzzor24 that inspections will continue on a daily basis to monitor compliance and ensure that citizens receive bread that meets both quality and safety requirement
