“Shater Dawood Al-Sarhan”, an element of the SDF, was assassinated by unidentified gunmen, shooting him directly in Ash-Shahil city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The SDF accused Daesh elements of being behind the assassinations including the assassination of Al-Sarhan in Ash-Shahil city east of Deir Ezzor.
In the context, elements likely to be Daesh elements shot at a military vehicle of the SDF in Al-Sabha town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, which resulted in deaths and injuries among the SDF’s ranks.
The SDF also found four of their elements slaughtered in a water lifting station near Al-Bassirah city in Deir Ezzor countryside.
It is noteworthy that Daesh cells have been active in the areas controlled by the SDF in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, as they have been able to assassinate a number of the SDF elements, as well as to detonate motorcycles and booby-trapped cars in a number of areas, most recent of which is in Ash-Shahil city.
