The 17th Division of Assad’s forces established two new concentration points on Al-Nahr Street in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, opposite the SDF-controlled areas, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the division well fortified the two points by storming them, and brought in heavy machine guns and installed them around them, in order to fill the shortage in the area as a result of the shortage of Iranian militia members who were withdrawn to the desert to conduct military training.
The areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir ez-Zor are on alert, after the recent targeting of several Iranian militia sites and its own by Israeli aircraft.
