Yesterday, Wednesday 6-5-2020, Assad’s forces and Iran’s militias were on high alert in all their military sites and headquarters in Deir Ezzor, according to sources for Deir Ezzor 24 network.
The sources noted that the forces and militias received orders to empty their headquarters of weapons in Al-Mayadeen, Al-Bukamal and other areas of Deir Ezzor, and to leave them for fear of military air strikes by the international coalition and Israel.
The same sources confirmed that the weapons were returned to the headquarters after the night had passed with no strikes.
It’s indicated that positions of Iranian militias and Assad’s forces were hit by heavy airstrikes last Tuesday.
