Assad’s forces and allied militias take advantage of the civil servants and retirees movements between their areas and the SDF’s, to force them to participate in pro-Assad regime marches in Deir Ezzor city.
Assad’s forces round up employees and retirees near Al-Salhiyah crossing in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside, for several hours, in order to increase the number of the arrivals and forcibly push them out in marches that support the Assad regime.
The Assad forces got the civil servants together near the crossing the day before yesterday which is the first day for both the active civil servants and the retirees to receive their paychecks, as the Assad forces make use of the flow of hundreds of civil servants on this day to force them out in marches of support.
According to special sources for Deir Ezzor 24 network, elements loyal to the Assad regime bring pictures and flags, and forcibly distribute them to the public servants coming to receive their monetary entitlement.
The Assad regime has recently begun to intensify the pro-regime rallies in Deir Ezzor province, in order to show the public opinion that it is popular in the areas that is under its control.
The Assad regime’s intelligence had earlier forced residents who had returned to their homes in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside to participate in marches that support the Assad regime.
