Today, Monday, 29-4-2019, the Assad’s forces released a number of detainees who have been detained in the Assad regime prisons for several years.
According to D24 correspondent, among those released was a group of people from Deir Ezzor, including women and children.
Our correspondent added that the first batch of detainees who was released included a group of women from Al-Shumeitiyah town in the western Deir Ezzor countryside and detainees from Buqruss town east of Deir Ezzor as well as detainees from other areas of Deir Ezzor.
Our correspondent confirmed that a number of the released detainees are suffering from amnesia as a result of the torture they were subjected to in the prisons of the security branches of the Assad forces.
Most of those released have been detained for about a year and a half or less, and none have been sentenced.
It is indicated that a batch of the released people were released in Al-Shannan village in Al-Raqqa countryside.
