Last night, the city of Deir Ezzor witnessed a security alert, starting from Al-Baath Bridge “Al-Ayur” towards Al-Huwayqa neighborhood, in the presence of officers from the Assad regime, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that the alert came after the arrest of an armed group posing as a security force that was blackmailing residents and repairing motorcycles.
The DeirEzzor24 Network highlighted, several weeks ago, the presence of these gunmen in Al-Huwayqa neighborhood and their robbing passers-by of money, motorcycles, and mobile phones.
