Assad forces relocated their checkpoints over the recent two days in the city of Deir Ezzor.

Assad forces removed a checkpoint in the al-Muwadafine neighborhood. The checkpoint is joint with the airforce Intelligences branch. Assad forces established the checkpoint to inspect people entering and leaving the neighborhood.

Assad forces removed a checkpoint of the Republican Guards on the perimeter of the Ghassan Aboud roundabout. They established a temporary checkpoint near the Faculty of Arts on the al-Panorama road, southern Deir Ezzor, and another checkpoint near the al-Muthalath area leading to corniche.

Assad forces’ relocating checkpoints coincides with Iranian militias redeployment to Deir Ezzor.
