DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
Residents in areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor are forced to wait for several months to obtain a gas cylinder, according to a correspondent for DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the reason for this delay is the reduction of gas supplies from 4,200 cylinders per day to only 700 cylinders, 200 of which go to Assad forces and Iranian-backed militias, Baath Party and governorate officials, and security branch leaders.
It is noteworthy that a citizen needs about 4 months to obtain a gas cylinder via a smart card, most of which is not subsidized, and is sold at the new price of 93,000 Syrian pounds.
