Daesh-run media office in what is called “ Wilayat Al-Khayr” (Deir Ezzor), recently released a new video titled “And Capture them and Besiege them”, showing latest battles that took place in Deir Ezzor and the gains the group made during them.
Daesh’s strategy, as explained in the video, revolved around well-planned operations in which areas held by Assad forces were besieged and constantly raided to be attrited.
The new video release consists also of scenes showing battles between both parties around the Deir Ezzor military airport, the Industrial, Tahtouh, Al-Omal neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city, with interviews with more than one Daesh suicide bombers and footages of their VBIEDs attack against Assad forces. The video also shows beheading of an element belonging to the Assad-regime whom Daesh captured during the battles.
This video is considered the largest release that has been released by the group with regards to the battles in Deir Ezzor so far, as it exceeds more than 16 minutes. It is in high quality and filmed in a professional manner.
