The Syrian democratic forces arrested an operative of Daesh, and while trying to arrest another operative, he blew himself up to avoid the arrest during a raid in al-Suwar city north of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that a number of the SDF group members were injured as a result of the explosion and were taken to hospital.
It is noteworthy that this raid is part of the security operation the coalition and the SDF have launched ten days ago under the title “Deterrence of Terrorism” to pursue Daesh remnants in the region extending from Al-Shaddadi in Al-Hasakah countryside, the eastern Euphrates areas in Deir Ezzor and Raqqa up to the Iraqi territory.
