This afternoon, Thursday 23-4-2020, “Hamad al-Sheikh” and another person were killed by unknown perpetrators in Ash-Shahil town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that unknown assailants shot at al-Sheikh’s car while passing through Ash-Shahil town, killing him and another man who was with him in the car.
Al-Sheikh is the oil products officer in Deir Ezzor Civil Council in the eastern and western Deir Ezzor countryside.
It is worth mentioning that such operations have increased significantly over the last period as a result of the increased activities of Daesh and Assad’s forces cells.
