Sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 network that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia has raised the salaries of those it described as competent in its ranks in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

The sources indicated that the salary increase, which amounted to about 30%, included the divisions’ leaders, military trainers, and some recruits.

The sources noted that the salary increase was issued following the meeting that was attended by an Iranian leader, who arrived in Al-Mayadeen city east of Deir Ezzor about two days ago.

The sources pointed out that the Iranian leader, who speaks no Arabic, gave a speech translated by a special interpreter with him, in which he encouraged the fighters of the Revolutionary Guard to participate in what he called the struggle against terrorism and America.

The source said that the meeting was held in the Revolutionary Guard office in al-Mayadeen city centre, and that the meeting was attended by Syrian leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard In Deir Ezzor .

The Iranian official inspected the barracks of his troops in the badiyah of al-Mayadeen city. He also checked the latest developments about the military base in the badiyah of al-Mayadeen east of Deir Ezzor.
