Albukamal City Council borders three locations to regulate vegetable and consumer markets

Albukamal City Council has bordered three locations designated for regulating markets selling vegetables, fruits, and consumer goods, as part of a plan aimed at controlling commercial activity and limiting the spread of random stalls within the city.

The specific locations include the market located behind the municipality café, the divisions and shops of Al-Fayhaa Square, in addition to the market area for butchers and meat sellers in the old parking lot. The total number of locations in the three markets is about 400 locations.

The Council called on the owners of tables, shops, stalls and divisions who have paid all their dues to visit the municipality to confirm their names and the locations designated for them, while it was decided to cancel the contracts of those who have failed to pay wages for more than three months.

Tables, divisions and stalls not reserved by their owners who are obligated to pay will also be put up for auction, in accordance with approved procedures.

This step aims to regulate markets and eliminate random phenomena, particularly in Al Faiha Square, one of the most prominent commercial centers in the city of Albukamal. It also requires vendors and business owners to adhere to designated locations, under penalty of legal action against violators.
