Today, Monday (June 15th), gunmen believed to belong to Daesh killed lawyer “Skat al-Musa”, the mayor of Al-Tayanah town east of Deir Ezzor, by shooting him in the municipality building, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that this afternoon, a number of gunmen had stormed al-Shaab municipality building in Al-Tayanah town east of Deir Ezzor and shot the mayor directly, killing him in full view of the employees, and left the site on motorcycles.
It is indicated that despite the campaigns that are carried out by the international coalition and the Syrian democratic forces, the group’s operations are still ongoing in the areas of Deir Ezzor east of the Euphrates.
