Al-Qaterji militia has increased the number of personnel protecting the oil fields in Al-Taym, Al-Shula and Al-Ward fields to 600, according to the DeirEzzor24 network correspondent.
He said that the new guards were transferred from the village guards to special tasks, with a monthly salary of 450,000 Syrian pounds, along with food baskets, on a semi-monthly basis.
It is noteworthy that, at the beginning of 2019, the Al-Qaterji militia had acquired a contract to protect and invest oil fields with the Russians through the Arvada Company, which made the employees of those fields within the range of targeting Iranian militias and the businessman group, “Mohammed Hamsho”, to terminate their oil contracts.
