D24 exclusive:
local sources for D24 network revealed that the Assad regime held several meetings in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside with brokers from the Al-Jazeera line of Deir Ezzor to search for ways to transport oil to its areas in the West of the Euphrates.
The sources confirmed that the meetings were held along with Al-Qaterji company, which plays the role of mediator between the SDF and smugglers on the one hand and the Assad regime on the other in return for huge sums of money it gets for those mediations.
It is indicated that several days ago, the international coalition forces expelled the workers of Al-Qaterji company in the Koniko gas field in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The international coalition also bombed tankers transporting oil from the SDF areas of control to those of the Assad regime in the West Bank of the Euphrates River.
It is noteworthy that the SDF, through local smugglers, have set up pipelines to transport oil across the Euphrates River to areas of the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor.
